About Robin
I’m Robin, the brain behind this blog. I first saw a ray of sunshine on the third of September in 1986. Born in Wilrijk, raised in the K-side (Kontich).
The year was 1992, the Olympics were going on in Barcelona. A team, called the Dream Team, caught my eye. I quickly knew I wanted to become a basketball player. My room was filled with heroes, like David Robinson, Magic Johnson and Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq was the guy I really liked. I followed him in Orlando and LA. I’ve been a Lakers fan ever since.
Many years have passed, and I don’t play as often now, but I still make an effort to watch some games. I keep myself in shape at the gym and by cycling. It’s essential because being a father of two daughters requires a lot of energy for playful activities. So far, I’m still keeping up!
I’m a functional analyst, project manager, product manager, product owner … at Axxes Consultancy. They are literally and figuratively a Great Place to Work.
